What is TMS?

     TMS, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation,  is an exciting treatment for Depression that was approved by the FDA in 2008; in the fall of 2018 it was approved for the treatment of OCD.  TMS is a non-invasive treatment that requires no medicine or anesthesia.  Patients get treated for about 20-40 minutes a day, Monday through Friday for 4 to 6 weeks.

Dr Cochran is a skilled, passionate and experienced TMS clinician. She is trained to providee TMS at Harvard, Duke, and other programs.  She became an international TMS Trainer and a board member of the Clinical TMS Society (past President of this society).  Dr. Cochran is passionate about education of other clinicians and advocating about the appropriate use of TMS therapy to relieve depression symptoms for patients.
